SENIOR BUYER – INDIRECT – INTERIM

We’re looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Client on a 6-12 month contract basis! If you have
experience in purchasing for a manufacturing company and enjoy finding efficient solutions, then
this role could be of interest to you
As a Senior Buyer, you will be a key player in the supply chain. You will ensure a smooth flow of
materials, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
• Development and management of the supplier base.
• Responsibility for accurate cost calculations.
• Monitoring commodity trends and communicating them to the sales team.
• Continuous improvement of material purchasing processes.
• Coordination of supply chain optimization.
• Participation in strategic planning of the purchasing department.
• Responsibility for RFQs including estimates and contract finalization.
Experience/Qualifications:
• Secondary or university education.
• Fluent English – essential for the role; another language is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing for a manufacturing company.
• Experience in purchasing plastics or steel is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team
